Pizza dough is mainly made with all purpose flour, water and yeast. There are several types of common pizza dough, such as New York style dough, Neapolitan style dough, and Sicilian style dough. Each on of them has some difference to support their own styles. Here is a basic and easy to make pizza dough recipe taken from marthastewart. First you have to prepare all the required ingredients, such as 2 packets of active dry yeast, ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil and more for the bowl and for brushing, 4 cups of unbleached all purpose flour and some more for dusting the work surface, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 2 teaspoons kosher salt.

The method to make it is; first, pour 1 ½ cups warm water into a large bowl, sprinkle yeast and let it sit until foamy or about 5 minutes. Second, in the same bowl, whisk sugar, oil, and salt into yeast mixture. Add flour and combine them until it become sticky dough. Move the dough to an oiled bowl and brush the top with oil. Cove the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in a warm place until the dough becomes double in size for about an hour.
