Taken from Wikipedia, Burrito is a dish that was originated from Mexico and is a fusion of Texan and Mexican food. The dish is consist of large wheat tortilla wrapped around other various ingredients. Tortilla itself is a thin kind of flatbread that was made from finely ground wheat flour from Mexico. The tortilla wrapping of burrito is sometimes grilled or steamed to soften the texture, so it can be more pliable and allow it adhere to itself when wrapped around the fillings. Other type of Burrito is the wet Burrito that is covered with sauce. This type of Burrito is eaten in a plate with fork and knife instead picking it up and eating it with hand. The wet Burrito is served by pouring red chili sauce similar to red enchilada sauce combined with shredded cheese on top.

Burrito Types
In the authentic Mexican Burrito, the most common fillings used are meat and refried beans. However in the United States Burrito fillings may include wider combination of other ingredients, such as Mexican-style rice or plain rice, boiled beans or refried beans, lettuce, salsa, meat, guacamole, cheese, sour cream as well as various vegetables.

Burritos variants may vary regionally. In Mexican State of Chihuahua, Burrito are commonly sold at restaurants and roadside stands. It also has other traditional ingredients, such as barbacoa, mole, refried beans and cheese or deshebrada.

The other regional Burrito variant is Mission Burrito from San Francisco. This Burrito is prepared on a steam table assembly line and is characterized by the large stuffed tortilla that wrapped in aluminum foil with filling that may include carne asada, Mexican style rice, whole beans, sour cream and onions. The next variety is San Diego style Burrito, which includes California Burrito. This Burrito fillings are a chunk of carne asada meat, French fries, cheese and either cilantro, pico de gallo, sour cream, onion or guacamole.
